Story Release and Permission

In addition to publishing your story on this website, Cedar + Sail may occasionally share stories more widely for educational purposes. There are two ways we would share your story: On the Cedar + Sail Social media platforms, with the author’s first name only With the National Museum to preserve your story in NMB’s digital collections.

Story Release Form:

I understand that I own my own image and story (“Story Materials”). I grant Cedar + Sail and their programme partner the National Museum of Bermuda permission to use all and/or part of my Story Materials on a strictly non-commercial basis, unless provided by separate agreement. Such use may include but is not limited to: seminars, trainings, and conferences; or screening the Story Materials in educational or community settings. In addition I allow Cedar + Sail and their partners the National Museum of Bermuda to use my Story Materials specifically for promotional uses for non-commercial distribution. I understand that I have the right to rescind this permission any time, recognizing the limitations of removing digital materials from online forms of distribution. I confirm that my participation in the Cedar + Sail was completely voluntary. I releaseCedar + Sail and the National Museum of Bermuda from any and all claims, demands, damages, or causes of action, relating in any way to the project.
